Karen’s special interests include personality type, spirituality, career development, and using visual art to foster mindfulness and resilience.  She enjoys spending her days with colleagues at Awareness Counseling Center helping clients learn effective ways to manage the anxiety and depression that often accompany life transitions, relationships, and trauma experiences.

Karen lives in central Georgia with her educator husband, Star Wars fanatic son, a sweet Terrier mix, and one surly house cat.
